/ 04A steel pergola frame is stronger than timber and does not rot under the Cypriot sun: spans up to 6 metres without intermediate posts, any roof configuration. Garden, poolside, wall-mounted, and commercial builds for restaurants and hotels. Wind loads are calculated, not guessed.
In Cyprus a pergola is first a structure for wind and sun, and only then a decorative feature. Post and beam sections are sized for the actual span and location.
A freestanding structure over a seating area, barbecue or dining table. Painted steel, any size, with an open or closed roof.
Shade over loungers and the water's edge. Material matters here: chlorine and salt destroy cheap coatings, so I go with hot-dip galvanising or aluminium.
Fixed to the facade and standing on two posts — it saves space and money. I always check what we are fixing into: aerated block and old render need a different approach.
A metal frame with reed, bamboo or timber battens on top, as in the photos. It keeps its shape for years, and the covering can be replaced whenever you like.
Rotating or fixed louvres let you control shade and ventilation. I build the frame for a ready-made louvre system or for one you install yourself.

Profiles are chosen for span and load. In Cyprus wind is the deciding factor: a pergola sized by eye folds in the first serious gust.
Frames and beams are welded in the workshop, posts made with flanged bases for anchors. Everything arrives as finished assemblies and goes up in a day.
Primer and powder coating in a RAL colour. For seafront sites, hot-dip galvanising or aluminium profile.
Anchored or cast-in fixings, roofing fitted (reed, polycarbonate, louvres, fabric), fixings checked and the site cleared.
Prices for the frame including installation. Roofing (reed, polycarbonate, louvres) is quoted separately depending on what you choose.
