Doors for store rooms, plant rooms, roof access and gate wickets. Leaf in sheet steel, sandwich panel or wrought infill; frame in box section. I measure the opening as it is and weld to the real size — no building up, no foam.
I do not make certified security front doors for apartments — those are bought ready-made and tested. I make the doors that do not exist in standard sizes.
Box-section frame, 2 mm sheet leaf with internal stiffeners. No insulation, a simple but solid lock. The most common order.
For pump rooms, pool plant and meter cupboards. With a ventilation louvre if there is equipment inside that gets warm, and opening outwards.
In the Cypriot sun a roof is the worst place for a door. There I use galvanising, a stiffened leaf that will not warp in the heat, and bearing hinges.
A pedestrian door beside the gate or set into the fence, in the same style and the same profile — so the entrance and the fencing read as one job, not two.
Sandwich panel or mineral wool inside the leaf, thermal break in the frame. For doors that open into a lived-in or air-conditioned space.
Open wrought infill, with glass behind it or without. For stone houses, courtyards and entrances that need air and light to pass through.
A door does not fail at the leaf. It fails at the frame that went out of square, the hinge that dropped, and the lock that is no longer sold anywhere.
I measure at three heights and three widths. Old openings are rarely square — the frame is made for yours.
A heavy leaf on a plain hinge drops within a year and starts scraping the floor.
I use locks stocked in Cyprus, so a cylinder can be changed in a day.
Fixed bolts on the hinge edge: even if the hinges are cut, the leaf stays in the frame.
Pick the size, the leaf infill and the frame material — the drawing and the price update instantly.
What the page works out is an estimate, not a quote. The final figure is always worked out separately, because the same structure in two different places does not cost the same.
This is not factory production, where everything comes out identical, soulless and at the lowest price. Each piece is made for your particular spot. Write to me — we will go through where reinforcement is worth it and where it is not, and I will find an option that suits you.
