How we make gates

Measurement and Consultation

I come to your location, measure the opening, assess the surface, discuss design and automation. I show photos of completed projects. We select material, color, style. Free measurement within 30 km of Larnaca.

Design and Estimate

I create a sketch (or work from yours), calculate materials, prepare a detailed estimate. Fixed price — no hidden fees. 50% prepayment for materials, 50% after installation.

Fabrication

Welding the frame from profile pipe, installing infill (sheet metal, bars, decorative elements). Grinding seams, preparing for painting. Production time — 3–7 days for standard gates, 7–14 days for designer gates.

Coating

Hot-dip galvanizing (optional) + powder coating or enamel. For coastal zones — additional anti-corrosion protection. Drying in chamber or natural conditions. Coating holds for 15–20 years without maintenance.

Installation and Automation

Installing posts, mounting the gate, alignment. For sliding gates — rail, trolley, catch plate. For swing gates — hinges on bearings. Installing automation (if ordered), programming remotes. Testing operation.

What the page works out is an estimate, not a quote. The final figure is always worked out separately, because the same structure in two different places does not cost the same.

What coating should I choose for gates in Cyprus?

What is the difference between sliding and swing gates?

Sliding saves space, doesn't need clearance for opening. Suitable for narrow passages. Swing — simpler, cheaper, easier to automate. If driveway is narrow — go with sliding.

Can gates be repaired if broken?

Yes. I repair gates: weld cracks, replace hinges, adjust automation. If gate is severely rusted — sometimes easier to make new one. Assess after inspection.

What payment terms?

50% prepayment for materials, 50% after installation. For large orders — payment schedule possible. Cash or bank transfer.

Can automation be added to existing gates?

Yes, if the gates are in good condition and the geometry is sound. I come, check what they can take, weld the brackets in place and set the limits.
