A barrier around the pool, from 1.1 m high, with a gate that closes itself. Materials that survive chlorine and salt: hot-dip galvanised steel, aluminium, AISI 316 stainless or framed glass. I weld on site, so the fence follows the shape of your pool.
A pool fence does two jobs at once: it keeps children and animals away from the water, and it must not ruin the look of the yard. Which of the two matters more decides how it is built.
The classic safety solution: vertical bars spaced under 10 cm, box-section frame, galvanising and powder coating in any RAL. Nothing to climb, because there are no horizontal footholds.
8+8 laminated glass in aluminium or stainless profile. The whole pool stays visible from the terrace — children in sight, barrier in place. The most expensive option, and the least intrusive.
Welded mesh inside a box-section frame. The most economical build that still meets safety spacing. A common choice for rental houses and holiday properties.
Spring hinges and a high latch, out of a child's reach. It closes and locks on its own. This is the part that fails most often on any pool fence — which is why I do not improvise it.
Solid or pattern-cut panels on the side facing the street or the neighbour — like the screen in the photo above. It blocks the view and the wind that cools the water.
For hotels and apartment complexes: longer runs, several gates, AISI 316 where the pool sits close to the sea. I work out of season or early morning so your guests are not disturbed.
The air above a chlorinated pool is more aggressive than sea air: chlorine evaporates and settles on the metal. That is why a pool fence is not built from the same stock as a property fence.
Zinc on the steel and powder coating on top. The default choice: 15–20 years, even once the coating gets scratched.
Does not rust at all and is light — good for long spans and for roof terraces where weight matters. Welded with TIG and argon.
Contains 2–3% molybdenum. The only material that handles chlorine and sea salt together — for pools in the first row from the water.
Safety glass in a profile. If it breaks it stays bonded to the interlayer instead of falling into the water in pieces.
Pick length, height, material and infill — the drawing and the price update instantly. I arrive with my own equipment and a generator.
What the page works out is an estimate, not a quote. The final figure is always worked out separately, because the same structure in two different places does not cost the same.
This is not factory production, where everything comes out identical, soulless and at the lowest price. Each piece is made for your particular spot. Write to me — we will go through where reinforcement is worth it and where it is not, and I will find an option that suits you.
sendSections are welded on site, in any town or village. Longer journeys are priced into the quote from the start.
