Metal art objects
in Cyprus — from sketch
to on-site installation.

Large steel sculptures, installations and decor: entrance pieces for businesses and villas, stage sets and photo zones for events and weddings, exhibition structures. The low-poly steel lion in the photos stands 2.2 m at the shoulder — every facet cut and welded by hand. I deliver and install anywhere on the island.

Who orders metal art objects

Steel holds its shape through weather and years — which is why it is the material of choice for pieces that must look expensive and last, not survive a single evening.

/ 01

Business and brands

Entrance pieces, 3D logos, sculptures at an office, hotel, showroom or restaurant. An object people photograph and post is the cheapest advertising per square metre you will ever buy.

/ 02

Villas and residences

A sculpture in the garden, by the pool or at the driveway. Decorative screens and partitions cut to a bespoke pattern — like the poolside panel in the gallery. Sized to your plot and matched to the house.

/ 03

Events and corporate

Oversized numbers and letters, art installations, branded structures, photo zones. Built as a demountable system so the piece travels between venues instead of dying after one night.

/ 04

Weddings

Metal arches, frames for florists, monograms, circular and geometric structures for flowers and fabric. Rigid, stable in wind, and as good in photographs as it is in person.

/ 05

Stage and set decor

Stage frames, trusses, backdrops and volumetric elements ready for paint and lighting. I calculate loads and weight, design for fast load-in and load-out, and help with fixings and rigging.

/ 06

Exhibitions and showrooms

Stands, plinths, racks, displays and holders in steel — built around a specific product and floor area. Transportable, bolted together on site with no welding, dismantled in an hour.

Metal art objects I have built

Real photos from the Larnaca workshop and from site. The lion is a fully welded steel sculpture made of flat facets — roughly 400 parts, each fitted by hand.

How a piece is built

01

Idea and reference

Send a photo, an image from the internet, a napkin sketch or a finished file. We agree on size, location, budget and deadline.

02

Sketch or 3D

The shape is approved before the cutter is switched on: unfolding, proportions, support points. Complex pieces get a 3D model and a full part layout.

03

Cutting and welding

Plasma and abrasive cutting, bending, facet fitting. MIG for mild steel, TIG for stainless and aluminium. Every seam is dressed — on an art object the weld is part of the design.

04

Finish

Primer and powder coating in any RAL colour, matt or gloss, patina, corten rust effect or polishing. For seafront locations, a reinforced anti-corrosion system.

05

Delivery and install

I deliver and install myself: anchors, cast-in plates, ballast or a demountable base. For events I can arrive on install day and collect the structure afterwards.

Delivered anywhere in Cyprus

Workshop in Larnaca, installation across the island. Large pieces travel on a trailer; I arrive on site with my own tools and generator.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a metal art object cost?
It is quoted per project: size, steel thickness, complexity of the form, finish and installation all move the price. A small interior sculpture and a life-size outdoor piece differ by an order of magnitude. Send a reference and rough dimensions and you get a price range within 24 hours, then an exact quote once the sketch is approved.
Can you build from my image or 3D model?
Yes, that is the usual route. A photo, drawing, render or an STL/OBJ/DXF file all work. If there is no model, I produce the unfolding myself and show you a sketch before any cutting starts.
How long does fabrication take?
Simple structures — arches, letters, photo zones — take 1–2 weeks. Complex sculptures with hand-fitted facets take 3–6 weeks. For an event, get in touch a month ahead: I take a limited number of deadline projects.
Will it survive Cypriot sun and sea air?
Yes, with the right material and finish. Near the sea I use stainless, aluminium or hot-dip galvanised steel with powder coating. Thin paint on bare steel 50 metres from the water simply does not last — I say so at quoting stage rather than after.
Do you build demountable structures for events?
Yes. The piece is designed around bolted joints and sections: it fits in a van, goes up in an hour or two on site and comes down just as fast. This is standard for stage, exhibition and wedding work.
Do you work with decorators and event agencies?
Regularly. I build to your drawings and brief, keep to load-in schedules and can work at night or early morning when the venue is free. For repeat volume we agree terms separately.
