/ 04Railings and guardrails in painted steel and aluminium. Frames welded to measure on site, coating chosen for the distance to the sea, fixed with anchors into the slab or brackets into the wall. Free survey on orders above €200.
Two materials for different jobs and budgets. The choice depends on how close the property is to the sea and the look you are after.
Box section or square bar, MIG welded, primed and powder coated in any RAL. The best value and the most flexible on design, from straight lines to wrought detail. Expect a repaint at 5–8 years.
The same build, but galvanised after welding and painted afterwards. Essential for balconies and terraces on the front line: service life multiplies for a 15–25% surcharge.
6063/6061 profile, TIG welded, anodised or powder coated. Three times lighter than steel and it does not rust at all. Ideal where the structure cannot be loaded or a slim modern profile is wanted.
A guardrail is about safety and geometry. Height, infill spacing and fixing method are worked out to code, not copied from the neighbours.
The most common job in Cyprus. Box-section frame with bar, tube or sheet infill. Fixed to the slab or into the wall, depending on the condition of the concrete.
Around a terrace, patio or roof. Often paired with a windbreak or privacy screen — built as one package so everything lines up.
A low guardrail and gate around the pool. Coating matters here: chlorine and splash eat cheap paint within a couple of seasons.
Flights, landings and stairwells. Fitted straight after the stair frame, or separately onto an existing concrete staircase.
A handrail along the wall for entrances and ramps — steel or aluminium on brackets. Essential where there are older residents or slippery tiles.
Metal posts and clamps for 10–12 mm toughened glass. I build the frame; the glass is ordered against the finished frame so the size cannot be wrong.

You see infill and colour options with a costed quote. If you have a photo of railings you like, I will reproduce it or suggest the nearest sensible version.
The frame is welded on site: MIG on steel, TIG on aluminium. Seams dressed, geometry checked with a level — on a balcony any twist shows immediately.
Degreasing, primer, powder coating. On the front line, hot-dip galvanising before paint, or aluminium profile.
Chemical anchors into the slab or brackets into the wall, holes made good, rigidity checked, site cleared.

What the page works out is an estimate, not a quote. The final figure is always worked out separately, because the same structure in two different places does not cost the same.
