Cyprus climate is one of the most aggressive for metal in Europe. In summer air temperature reaches 45°C, metal heats to 70°C. By the sea there's constant salt and chlorides. In winter strong winds. A canopy built carelessly won't last 3 years.
I design canopies taking all these factors into account: correct tube section for wind load, hot-dip galvanising or aluminium for coastal zones, proper slope for rain, ventilation gap under polycarbonate so it doesn't overheat.
We design and fabricate all main canopy types for private homes, hotels, restaurants and commercial sites.
Our most popular order. Protects your car from Cyprus scorching sun — temperature in shade 15–20°C lower, paintwork doesn't fade. Roofing — polycarbonate or corrugated sheet.
Canopy for garden leisure area. Open or with roofing, with side walls or without. Can add lighting, fans, planters. Foundation for outdoor kitchen and BBQ zone.
Protects front door from rain and sun. Ornate or minimalist designs — to match gates and railings style. Wall-mounted with anchors.
Canopy over sunbed area by the pool or over terrace. Aluminium or 316 stainless — doesn't rust from chlorine and sea water. Roofing — polycarbonate or stretch fabric.
Summer terrace or pool area for hotel, restaurant or bar. Made to design brief or sketch. Large spans, reliable posts, quick installation before the season.
Small canopy for equipment, garden tools or firewood store. Quick fabrication, minimum cost. Box section + polycarbonate or corrugated sheet.
Metal frame is the foundation of a canopy. Roofing is what protects from sun and rain. In Cyprus UV resistance and heat reflection matter.
Cellular polycarbonate with UV protection — lets light through, doesn't overheat if you pick the right colour (bronze, blue). Lightweight, doesn't rot, good sound insulation from rain.
Steel profiled sheet with polymer coating. Stronger than polycarbonate, doesn't let light through. Better for carport when strength matters more than illumination.
Aluminium planks with gaps — decorative solution for pergola. Partially protects from sun, looks good. Doesn't rust, eternal option.
I visit the site, measure area, check terrain, fixing points and wind direction. I propose a sketch with dimensions and roofing options.
Quote with options for frame and roofing materials. We agree design, colour, post positions. 50% deposit for materials.
Frame welding in workshop, painting, post preparation. Roofing material ordered to exact dimensions — no offcuts or waste.
Concrete footings for posts, frame assembly, roofing installation. All slopes and ventilation gaps observed. Site clean-up. Maintenance instructions.
